Responsibilities of a Senior Structural Engineer

As our Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the structural design and analysis process for various interior design projects.
  • Collaborating with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of structural elements.
  • Performing structural calculations, simulations, and analysis to determine the feasibility and safety of designs.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports, drawings, and specifications for construction documentation.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and compliance with regulations.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers in their professional growth and development.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel as a Senior Structural Engineer at Granite Interiors, here are the qualifications and skills we seek:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, preferably in the interior design industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with structural analysis software, such as SAP2000 or ETABS, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to structural engineering.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address design challenges and provide innovative solutions.
